If you attempt to access a website that Internet Guardian knows to contain malicious content, your access to that site will be blocked. If you feel access was blocked in error, click on the link within the message that allows you to contact your network administrator. The link will take you to the Minnesota State System Help Desk, where you will have the opportunity to submit a ticket asking for the site to be reviewed.
Your request will be evaluated by a security team member to determine the potential risk and impact to the institution and the Minnesota State system. If approved, you will receive a bypass code that allows you access to the blocked site. You will need to enter this code each type you visit the site.
